Deviating from conventional function, the design was engineered to serve as a stand alone composition meant to be observed from all angles. The table was constructed within the constraints of a 4’ by 8’ sheet of 3/4” plywood and cut from various woodworking machinery. Various forms of joinery and shape were explored to establish an effective presence that draws from Brutalist approach.
